The 2nd Parliament was in 1999 in Cape Town, South Africa, with some 7,000 from 80 countries, it published A Call to Our Guiding Institutions. The 3rd and 4th Parliaments, held in Barcelona (2004) and Melbourne (2009), respectively, attracted 9,000 and 10,000 participants. CPWR also organised the religious/spiritual program for UNESCOs 2007 Universal Forum of Cultures in Monterrey, Mexico.
